Frequently asked questions
How long does a grooming service last?
The average time is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the size, temperament and needs of the puppy.
What products do you use in My World?
We only use natural, safe, and high-quality products tailored to each pet's skin and coat.
Can I bring my dog if they are nervous or don’t like grooming?
Absolutely! We specialize in working with sensitive dogs, using patience, time, and lots of love.
What safety measures are in place during the grooming process?
Can I stay with my pet during the grooming session?
For safety and convenience, we do not allow owners to stay during the grooming process. In some cases, pets behave well in the presence of their owners, but most often they behave better without the owner present.
Should I bring anything on the day of the appointment?
Just your pet, their collar, and if you like, a toy or blanket to give them confidence. We'll take care of the rest.
Can you let me know when it's ready?
Yes, we'll call you or send you a text or WhatsApp message when your puppy is ready so you don't have to wait longer than necessary.
What happens if I'm late for my appointment?
Please let us know as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment. Just let us know.
What happens if I have any problems when picking up my pet after the service is finished?
It's okay, but we would appreciate a call to be updated, otherwise we would charge you for the day care service for the delay and the space occupied after the service.
Does my pet need to be vaccinated before the appointment?
Yes, for everyone's safety, we require pets to be up-to-date on their core vaccinations, especially rabies. This helps protect your pet, the other pets in our care, and our grooming staff. Please bring proof of vaccination if this is your first visit.
What if it’s my puppy’s first grooming appointment?
We love working with puppies! On their first visit, our main goal is to help them feel confident and familiarize themselves with the process. If your puppy allows it, we'll do the full grooming, but it's often better to focus on helping them calmly adapt to the salon and their contact with us.
Don't think of it as an expense, but rather as a significant investment. A bad experience or forced grooming can leave trauma, fear, or even cause injuries. We prefer to do it with patience, love, and respect.
Can I shave my double-coated dog during the summer?
We don't recommend shaving dogs with double coats, such as huskies, golden retrievers, or Pomeranians. Their coat regulates body temperature, keeping them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shaving can damage their coat, cause skin problems, and actually make them more vulnerable to heat.
Instead, we offer special treatments to remove dead undercoats, promote ventilation, and help your dog feel cool without compromising their health.
